The main purpose of GEPrEx is to investigate the physiological, perceptual and affective responses to physical exercise in healthy and special populations, resulting from the manipulation of the components associated with the FITT-VP principle. In this context, there is a special interest in systematic reviews and meta-analyses for evidence-based decision making, as well as randomized controlled clinical trials to test the effects of manipulation of the FITT-VP components on physiological responses to physical exercise, and observational studies to test the reproducibility of the measures used in the projects linked to the group.
